Telarus Boosts Team with Addition of New Marketing VP
They say a chain is only as strong as its weakest link, but for Master Agent Telarus (News - Alert), the company seems to leaning in the other direction as it keeps adding more and more strong people to its chain of command.
That move was confirmed recently with the addition of Amy Bailey as the company’s newest VP of marketing. Bailey came on board as part of the company’s acquisition of VXSuite, which was first announced at Cloud Partners, a Channel Partners event, in September.
“Telarus … has recently announced that it has set up an agreement with LVM Inc. to acquire its assets,” wrote TMC’s (News - Alert) Steve Anderson at the time. “Since LVM makes the VXSuite diagnostic tool, that provides Telarus with an impressive new package in the field.”
Telarus was quick to acknowledge the importance of Bailey’s addition.
“Finding a person of the caliber of Amy is a big win for the Telarus team," commented Telarus co-founder, Patrick Oborn. “We look forward to using her experience with VARs and MSPs to help move our partners from agents to cloud brokers. Her experience planning and implementing VXMadness, the VXSuite partner conference on recurring revenue, will add to our Telarus Partner Summit."
It was reported in the media that Bailey had been with the VXSuite product in many roles since 2004. For six years, she served as a sales representative for a VXSuite partner and in 2010 began working directly for LVM, previous owner of VXSuite, as channel manager, before moving on to director of content and VP of marketing.
“Joining the Telarus team is an incredible opportunity for me and I am so excited to join such an amazing team," said Bailey in a prepared statement. “I will work to incorporate the VXSuite brand into the Telarus portfolio to help strengthen our partner offering."
