Master Agent Telarus to Offer ShoreTel Connect CLOUD

Navigating the telecommunications marketplace to find the right solution for your organization is easier said than done. That is where master agents can play an important role in simplifying the accessibility of products and services to customers. By representing more carrier brands, they deliver more options in a one-stop shop environment. As a master agent that holds contracts with over 50 data, voice, and cloud providers, Telarus just announced it has entered into an agreement with yet another company, ShoreTel (News - Alert), so it can start selling Connect CLOUD.

The ShoreTel Connect CLOUD is a comprehensive, fully hosted and managed end-to-end unified communications as a service (UCaaS) solution. The company has designed this solution to remove the difference between enterprise and personal communications with a new standard for a natural user experience. Connect CLOUD works just like traditional phone systems by offering call transfer, extension dialing, conference calling and other features directly from the phone handset and mobile device.

It also has full collaborative unified communications (UC) features with instant messaging, audio and Web conferencing, video calling and Web desktop sharing. These are all tools that are now becoming standard options in the communications solutions of enterprises. Without these solutions in place, the ability to effectively communicate with customers, employees, partners, vendors and others will be greatly limited.

We look forward to a great long-term partnership with Telarus and its sales partners," said David Petts, SVP of worldwide sales at ShoreTel.

For its part, Telarus brings 1,500 channel partners that will be able to provide Connect CLOUD as part of their hosted voice and unified communications services. This includes its recent acquisition of VXSuite, a software platform that provides analytics and reports to troubleshoot VoIP performance, which it purchased in September 2015.

As part of this deal, VXSuite technicians were hired into the Telarus engineering department, making them available to all Telarus selling partners. The partners will be able to access network analytics to ensure the quality of voice traffic on the data networks they sell on behalf of Internet, voice, and data center services providers.

"Since many of our partners already have a relationship with ShoreTel we are well positioned now, as a master agent, to expand the ShoreTel, Telarus and VXSuite portfolio into the traditional cloud community,” said Roger Blohm, president of VXSuite. “In our view, as an existing ShoreTel partner, we are able to assist the subagent community because we speak the ShoreTel language and can help them through the sales process.”
