Telarus Joins Rackspace Partner Network Program
Telarus (News - Alert), a distributor of cloud server space and associated applications for voice and video, recently announced that it has joined the Rackspace Partner Network Program to offer even more public and private cloud space to their enterprise clients.
For a number of years, Rackspace (News - Alert) has provided its own clients with public and private cloud space as well as applications for security, collaboration, and email. Telarus resellers and managed service providers will now have the opportunity to offer that server space and application delivery to a whole range of new customers. Adam Edwards, the CEO of Telarus, called the adoption of Rackspace products an “easy decision.”
“Adding Rackspace to our portfolio was an easy decision,” Edwards said. “As the number one managed cloud company, they bring reliable cloud solutions that are in high demand by our sales partners and their business customers. As a leader in the 2015 Gartner (News - Alert) Magic Quadrant for Cloud-Enabled Managed Hosting, Rackspace is a trusted brand that we can recommend with confidence.”
Clearly, Rackspace enters the fray with a host of recommendations in tow. It also spoke highly of this deal – noting its excitement for entering the partnership and having Telarus as a primary seller of its entire line of products and services.
Telarus has shown that is supports its own resellers with value-adds such as the VXSuite that it just acquired. This program allows resellers to probe a customer’s private branch exchange network to generate reports about its quality. Telarus’ own blog post has called it an “independent third-party referee.” It scans the network to provide a level of transparency that can keep customers happy and resellers looking like the hero.
In that same way, resellers should also expect perks to come alongside the sale of other products in the Telarus portfolio. The number of new products coming from Rackspace is sure to demand a close eye from network monitors. The better those systems can support resellers, the better customers feel and Telarus looks. Rackspace notes its “white-glove” service in the announcement of this partnership, so it is clear that Telarus wants to continue its reputation for years to come.
