Coming to the Aid of SMBs in Need of Speed

That may be one reason why Telarus (News - Alert), Inc., the master agent for more than 50 brands of business data, voice, and cloud services, has announced it’s entered into an agreement with ViaSat (News - Alert) Inc., to become the first nationwide master agent of ViaSat’s Exede Business satellite Internet services.

And it’s those services which make the joint venture an ideal fit.
Exede Business Internet, available in many areas across the U.S. — including rural communities without many options for high-speed DSL or cable — provides 15 Mbps download and 4 Mbps upload speeds for Internet and cloud connectivity. “With Exede Internet as a primary service, Telarus agents will be able to fill in coverage gaps, or use Exede to provide a reliable, affordable continuity service in the event of a service disruption with a primary provider,” the company said in a statement.
Exede Business is now available to the Telarus partner sales channel, and has been integrated into Telarus’ patented GeoQuote system, allowing channel partners to prequalify, price, and propose Exede Business services to their clientele in near real-time.
