Master Agent Sponsor Expands Network

Mobile users wanting fast access to rich data are flocking to 4G, putting increased pressure on carriers to expand their capacity and capabilities. Those unable to implement the latest infrastructure are likely to face declining revenues and a shrinking subscriber base. A recent report included the news that the managed services provider has expanded its failover services, in addition to its wireless coverage, to include 4G. Its managed wireless failover services will now also include single-site organizations and SMBs that look to MegaPath for primary access.

MegaPath provides wireless failover for Ethernet, T1, DSL and cable connections. Previously, this kind of support was available only to the enterprise. Now that MegaPath has expanded to 4G, companies in the covered areas will have access to bandwidth speeds that are up to 10 times faster than 3G. For those still using the 3G capabilities, MegaPath has beefed up this footprint as well.

Dan Foster (News - Alert), MegaPath’s business markets group president, shared that in the economy today, businesses cannot afford to stop operations just because employees can’t process transactions or communicate. A continuity plan must be in place that provides a resilient connection to process transactions, access data and serve the customer base if the primary circuit is disrupted. MegaPath’s latest initiative ensures this added level of assurance for the customer base.
