Master Agent Featured ArticleMaster Agent Strengthens Partnership with Comcast
December 04, 2012
Telarus (News - Alert) is a master agent and value added distributor known for its strategic alliances with a majority of the world’s largest commercial telecommunication carriers including Comcast (News By adding to this already fruitful alliance, Telarus will now be able to ask for site surveys, gain access to construction estimates and rapidly come up with the final solution/price points for a variety of telecommunication services even before a contract is signed with any customer. In addition, the master agent is currently being touted as the first ever Comcast Business Class Solution Provider to offer this service to its independent sales partners. According to Adam Edwards, president of Telarus, "Offering unique value to our partners is the main goal of our company. With the ability to request truck rolls and to handle Comcast fiber pricing requests ourselves, our partners can expect an expedited response. Not only does direct-quoting help our partners, it also lightens the support load we place on Comcast Business Services." It was back in 2011 that Telarus became a Comcast Business Class Solution Provider which happened in conjunction with the official launch of the program. In a little less than two years, the master agent successfully unveiled GeoSign, a paperwork generator product that would help to ramp up its Comcast order volume. "Our support staff is trained and ready to go," added Andrew Morgan, VP of Operations for Telarus, Inc. "Once we know what the construction fees are going to be as a result of the site survey, our team will be able to follow established business rules to determine the monthly fee and potentially eliminate any applicable setup fees. Most importantly, we'll now have complete management over our partner's experience when it comes to requesting Ethernet pricing for Comcast Business Class fiber services." Comcast continues to be selected as one of the most popular providers of Ethernet data services on the market and just earlier this year the business was chosen by Polartec, a manufacturer of high-tech fabrics that are worn around the world by outdoor lovers, emergency personnel, the military and consumers, who in turn began utilizing Comcast Ethernet services. Nearly 1,000 Polartec employees in six offices throughout the world are now connected through the company’s existing virtual private network (VPN) over a high-performance Comcast Ethernet connection, helping to save the company more than $1,000 a month, TMCnet reported.
