Integra Telecom Unveils New Quoting Platform, Does it Measure Up to Master Agent Telarus' Offering?

Just last week, Integra Telecom (News - Alert) made some noise in the telecommunications space by introducing its MasterStream quoting solution to its master agents and reseller partners. Touted as a platform that has long been in the works due to continuous demand for it, the offering took quite some time to be released due to some quarterly losses that began around 2008.
It was that year that the company acquired Eschelon (News - Alert) Telecom, ultimately suffering when Integra was overtaken by competitors due to the lack luster promotion of its fiber products and not remaining competitive enough by slacking on introducing new next-generation services to stay ahead in the space, a recent article revealed.
Refusing to let the same thing happen twice, the company realized the sheer importance of going head to head with Telaus’ robust GeoQuote product, a high functioning quoting tool that has recently reached the 1,000,000th real-time quotes milestone.

Developed and patented back in 2003 by the Utah-based master agent, GeoQuote can accurately quote transaction products in a very short period of time that are then offered to enterprises by carriers. Some of these products include data T1, PRI, Ethernet over copper, cable Internet/voice/TV and more.
With an error rate of less than two percent, virtually any firm within the telecommunications space can significantly benefit from leveraging this innovative platform.
