Master Agent Telarus Unveils Business Cable Paperwork Generation Platform

Telecom master agent Telarus (News - Alert) has launched GeoSign, an enhanced business cable paperwork generation platform that is compatible with all cable company business coax offerings.


GeoSign is the latest software product from Telarus. The master agent is also known for its telecom software tools like GeoQuote, which recently generated its 1,000,000th quote, and GeoScan, which partners use to find general carrier availability for any address in the United States.

GeoSign is beneficial for the company’s partners who are involved with cable companies due to the fact that this platform allows them to check for cable availability, configure a custom service package for their client, and generate paperwork in real-time. 

According to Telarus, GeoSign provides an industry standard that all cable companies can leverage to grow their partner base and it is key to the future growth and sustainability of their channels. 

With the average fallout rate of 25 percent and an average monthly bill of around $200, partners do not have much tolerance for delay, headache, or run-around. GeoSign is designed to help them save time and ensure the forms are filled out correctly, saving time on the front end as well as the back.

"With the average coax business broadband and/or voice order coming in around $200/month, channel partners just don't have the time to wait for serviceability to come back or to fill out 4 pages of paperwork, by hand, for their customers each and every time,” said Andrew Morgan, VP of Operations and chief architect of GeoSign, in a statement.

Telarus started creating GeoSign back in early 2011 when the master agent was selected for the initial rollout of the national Comcast (News - Alert) Business Class Solution Provider program. GeoSign is currently compatible with Comcast Business Class and is in beta testing with Time Warner (News - Alert) Cable Business Class. 

"Creating a common platform on which all of the cable companies can provide automated pre-qualification and customer signature-ready paperwork for their channels was a huge task,"  added Adam Edwards, president of Telarus. "GeoSign will provide unique value to the growing number of partners looking to add the Cables to their portfolio and also those that are tired of having to do the work manually through their current distributors."  

At this time, GeoSign, GeoQuote, and GeoScan are all available online through the Telarus Partner Portal at http://agent.telarus.com.

Recently, TMCnet reported that Telarus was highlighted within the 100 Fastest Growing Companies in Utah list, published annually by MountainWest Capital Network.
