10n2 Technologies Inc. is expanding its master agent team. The company recently took on Telecom Brokerage (News - Alert) Inc. (TBI) in its Platinum Partner Program. This partnership is sure to benefit players on both sides. 

TBI is a master agent that manages partners and subagents who sell TBI’s carrier’s products. The master agent provides back-office support, as well as product training and consultation.

According to this Channel Partners Online report, 10n2 Technologies is a mobile device technology company that has developed software designed to make roads safer today by preventing drivers from talking on their mobile devices. 

The software can determine who is driving and who is riding, which allows passengers to talk freely on their devices while drivers are restricted from talking so they can focus on the road.

The pairing of these two companies works because TBI operates a wireless division that has applications and hardware that will fit perfectly with what 10n2 is trying to accomplish.

While the restrictions on drivers might seem extreme, mobile device distraction is to blame for about 6,000 fatalities and as many as 500,000 injuries on America’s roadways. The carnage left in the wake of this has forced many states to take up legislation to protect motorists from the distraction. 

Many states already ban the practice of texting while driving for motorists under the age of 21, but they are considering an expansion of that legislation as more drivers utilize mobile devices in their vehicles, making the roads more treacherous.

Master agent TBI, while teamed with 10n2, can offer a solution to help rectify the problem by putting this technology in the hands of end users who can make sure their customers follow the rules of the road. The product they offer includes pre-installed hardware that could affect more than 100 million mobile device users.

TBI master agents will have the ability to manage their customers’ applications, which are a product of 10n2, through a tool called PartnerIQ. This product allows for complete visibility to improve the overall experience for the end user.

The U.S. Department of Transportation will bring heavy fines to companies whose workers use their mobile devices on the job behind the wheel. This partnership will ease the burden on those companies who have to budget for the possibility of $11,000 fines per violation.
