Master Agent Provider Earthlink Offers New Business IT Service Suite
Earthlink (News - Alert), a provider of master agent TBI, has a brand new Business IT Service Suite that comes on the heels of last year's Earthlink Complete. Companies no longer need to beef up their in-house IT staff with Earthlink's latest offering, which has a variety of tools that streamline IT resources.
Earthlink, once known only as an Internet Service Provider, has been making strides to become a managed service provider, and according to this Channel Partners Online report, master agents are taking note.

The ball really started rolling in October when Earthlink bought Synergy Global Solutions, an IT solution center.
World Telecom Group (News - Alert), a large master agency, signed with Earthlink's channel partner in October, making for a big month of announcements. World Telecom Group, or WTG, has 1,500 master agent partners in the U.S. The partnership gives all those master agents the ability to sell Earthlink Business voice, data, and managed services
.Not only is Earthlink a partner of master agent TBI, but it is also a provider of Internet Protocol services to both medium- and large-sized companies. Earthlink's Business IT Services suite offers virtualization with cloud hosting and dedicated servers for backup, disaster recovery and Web hosting.
With Earthlink's solutions, companies can quickly build a server with the specs that fit their specific needs. The cloud hosting plans offer instant scaling with multi-layered security and self-healing cloud architecture. The service includes data center services that are engineered to be the most reliable and scalable in the industry.
Earthlink has many years of experience in managing and maintaining data center facilities, so the expertise is built in to the solution. Security measures include managed processes such as cloud security and device security, as well as compliance and enhanced monitoring, disaster recovery and business continuity.
The security services include a managed firewall and secure remote access, remote data protection and asset management. Earthlink's solution also includes managed services support for hardware, software, operating systems, and IT infrastructure.
Finally, the managed server hosting services are comprised of cloud hosting, a dedicated server, and colocation that can either be managed or unmanaged.
