EarthLink Business, a provider of master agent TBI has just announced that it has recruited Sherri Turpin for the coveted position as vice president of channel strategy for EarthLink, where she will fall under the jurisdiction of J.R. Cook, vice president of channel partner sales for EarthLink Business. Before making the transition to EarthLink, Turpin worked at XO Communications (News - Alert) as the national director of partner sales. This will prove highly beneficial, as Turpin already has forged previous relationships with multiple master agencies.

“Sherri’s new position at EarthLink Business will create a very exciting synergy," said Geoff Shepstone, president of master agency Telecom Brokerage Inc in a statement. “She is a trusted asset to the channel, and her understanding of the channel … aligns well with the forward-thinking style of the EarthLink Business team."

Brad Miehl, president and CEO of master agency MicroCorp shared this sentiment commenting, “Sherri is a very strategic-thinking executive who is innovative [and] charismatic. Adding her to the already incredible team at EarthLink Business clearly strengthens its value proposition to the partner channel."

Turpin will be working from EarthLink’s Dallas, Texas office and will be creating new programs for the service provider’s master agents, as well as assisting partners with new EarthLink Business products that will continue to be introduced to the market this year, an article revealed.
