Chicago-based, telecommunications Master Agent TBI, has announced it’s enhanced the way subagents can contact the company and has further broadened its reach with the launch of a newly redesigned website and partner portal.
According to officials with TBI, the new site not only offers an updated look and style, but is also a hub of information for both current and perspective partners. In addition, the new site makes it possible for subagents to pick the way they get in contact with TBI- whether they prefer one-on-one communication, or contact through the Web portal.
“At TBI, we can support our agents however they need us too,” said Ken Mercer, senior vice president of TBI. “Some agents may prefer to call or email us directly, especially with larger deals, and we can accommodate that. Now, we can also accommodate those who prefer a web portal. We let the partners choose how they want to interact with us.”
Representing over 800 independent channel partner agencies and offering over 60 industry providers and carriers, TBI offers 24-hour turnaround on quotes, the most Agent Friendly Contract in the industry, and the most aggressive commissions available.
Now, tbicom.com, which officials note was created in an open-source environment and content management system, makes it possible to easily add features as needed in the future.
While the front-end of the site highlights the company’s carrier relationships, solutions and basic information about the company, the back-end offers existing partners the ability to login and directly access their “Agent Dashboard” for access to the RPM and the ability to request quotes, place orders, and inquire about commissions.
In addition, partners can now also view current promotions and trainings and contact the TBI team directly.
“Providing options such as this has helped TBI create long-term partnerships and is part of what has made us successful for two decades. The advancements we have made with our website is another step in that direction,” Mercer said.
Earlier this year, TBI made headlines when the company partnered with XO Communications and ADTRAN (News - Alert) to sponsor training sessions across the country to help agents gain greater product knowledge.
